提出了将步进频脉冲信号应用于微波检测。基于散射中心模型, 分析了该信号检测焊接裂纹的机理, 给出了步进频脉冲波形设计准则。通过仿真, 其模糊函数表明该波形具有高的距离分辨率, 从而使获得焊接裂纹的一维距离成像成为可能。在分析和设计的基础上, 提出了IFFT(逆傅里叶变换)成像算法, 并对其成像原理进行了分析。结果表明, 该算法可实现基于步进频脉冲的焊接裂纹的一维距离成像。在一般条件下, 对该算法进行了仿真, 仿真结果表明该算法可得到实际焊接裂纹的全程一维距离像。
