上海赛科石油化工有限责任公司是中国石油化工股份有限公司（中国石化）、中国石化上海石油化工股份有限公司（上海石化）、中国石化上海高桥石油化工有限公司出资成立的有限责任公司，其前身是由中国石化、上海石化和BP华东投资有限公司出资组建的中外合资有限责任公司，总投资额逾30亿美元。

上海赛科建有 8 套主要生产装置，具有世界级上下游一体化的特点，体现了规模经济效应。其中，设计能力109万吨/年乙烯是目前世界上单线产能***的乙烯装置之一，其余的7套装置也均达到世界规模，分别为：60万吨/年聚乙烯装置、65万吨/年苯乙烯装置、65万吨/年芳烃抽提装置、30万吨/年聚苯乙烯装置、52万吨/年丙烯腈装置、25万吨/年聚丙烯装置和18万吨/年丁二烯装置。

赛科采用世界上最先进的工艺技术，生产乙烯、丙烯、聚乙烯、聚丙烯、苯乙烯、聚苯乙烯、丙烯腈、丁二烯、苯、甲苯及副产品等，每年可向市场提供国内紧缺的高质量、多规格、宽覆盖面的石化产品228万吨。赛科建立完善的QA/QC体系，提供相关的售后服务及技术咨询，从事聚合物应用开发。

Shanghai SECCO Petrochemical Company Limited is a limited liability company invested by China Petroleum and Chemical Corporation (Sinopec Corp.), Sinopec Shanghai Petrochemical Company Limited (SPC) and Sinopec Gaoqiao Petrochemical Company Limited, previously it was a joint venture limited liability company invested by Sinopec Corp, SPC and BP East China Investment Company Limited, the total investment is about US $ 3.0 billion.

Having 8 main production plants, Shanghai SECCO is featured with world-class integration of upstream and downstream, generating the benefits of scale economy. The 1,090 ktpa designed ethylene plant is by far one of the one-piece facilities that have the highest production capacity in the world. The other 7 plants having all reached world scale include: 600 ktpa polyethylene plant, 650 ktpa styrene plant, 650 ktpa aromatic extraction unit, 300 ktpa polystyrene plant, 520 ktpa acrylonitrile plant and 250 ktpa polypropylene plant and 180 ktpa butadiene plant.

SECCO produces ethylene, propylene, polyethylene, polypropylene, styrene, polystyrene, acrylonitrile, butadiene, benzene, toluene and byproducts, etc with the most advanced process technology in the world. It can provide the market with 2280 kiloton of petrochemical products featuring high quality, multiple specifications and wide coverage that are in urgent demand in the domestic market.
